The band’s third release is about to be out. The release will be done a s digital format and it includes 8 original tracks, plus a bonus. Distortion and Non Linearities is a techno album with industrial essence.
This a new step in German Affair’s sound design and processing research, and the results of a lot of feedback looping, distortion, noise, and signal abusing experimentation.
German Affair came back to Set Theory Records for their second album, released in January 2020. This new release includes four original tracks: «Poisonous Tongue», «KBON Klinik», «Not Like’ em» and «Bloody Daddies».
Poisonous Tongues is a step ahead from their previous released, cultivating its own discurse, and with a very personal sonic imprint. The duo achieves along the 4 cuts an impeccable mix between the rawest elektro beats, the hitting basses from the darkest acid techno, and as usual, its omnipresence industrial touch.
This is a record full of reminiscenses of the classic EBM, Industrial and early Electronic Music references, such as TheKlinik, NewOrder, or Ministry.
The bands’ first album was released in May 2018 through Set Theory Records label. In two formats, digital and vinyl black edition, it includes five tracks, two originals – dro + Greyr) and three remixes.
dro is a techno album with industrial essence, wich invites the listener to travel through a fluid tunnel full of textures and distortions, and above all, carefully produced and quality made noise.
Three spanish key music underground artists signs the remixes. Komatssu, better know as «Tensal» from duo «Exium», Pedro Vian, head of Barcelona Electronic Music Label «Modern Obscure Music» and Isa·Bel, a regular player in the main Barcelona clubs.
